Windows Add/Remove Utility

Windows 98 Add/Remove

This is where you Remove Software from your Computer. Click on the Program, you want to Uninstall, Click on the Add/Remove Button. If it ask you if you want to leave some files ( usually .dll files ) click Yes to All button, these can be cleaned up later with Norton WinDoctor ( if you have it ). Some other program may need those files to run properly.

High light a catagory and click on the Details button, then uncheck the programs Windows installed for you that you do not ever use. If you uninstall something and notice Whoops I guess I needed that, just go back and recheck it, to reinstall it, it will ask for the install disk to reinstall it.

Vista and Windows 7 Setup or Features Utility

Go to the Control Panel, open Programs and Features, in the upper left corner open Turn Windows features on or off.
