Happy Fathers Day, my Father passed on many years ago, but I will always remenber the speacial moments we shared and how his presence impacted my life. So this is to all Fathers and espeacially Glenn Hardwick Hanson, I hope you know that I think about you each day.
Fathers help us learn those hard lesson’s about life.
Fathers have that speacial sense of what we are trying to say.
Fathers sacrific there loves, to make sure we can develope ours.
Fathers dicipline us to teach us honor and instill values in our lives.
Fathers show us how to be strong, yet tender and kind.
Fathers help us with our everyday fustrations, by listening and sharing thier experiences with us.
Fathers when they are gone, you miss them terribly, so listen and learn from your Father, before it’s to late, for once he is gone, only Memories exist.
So give Dad a Hug and tell him you Love him, need him and appreaciate all that he does for you.
Happy Fathers Day Dad!
From your Son Michael
I added Links to each subject on the pages in the Home Improvement Section, after all that is what we want, information. Even found a page that has thousands of Free plans for Crafts from Basketry to Wood Working, pretty Cool! Hope they are helpfull.
For those of you that are on a full time connection such as Cable or DSL, you should have a Firewall. A Firewall is simply a Wall between your Computer and the Internet, if you do not have this anyone with the right software can be on your system and you will not even know they are there. The Firewall only allows entry or exits through the wall that allow and stops all others. The Best and very user friendly is Zone Alarm Pro there is also a free version. I have been using this for 2 years and get nervous when it is turned off, I recently hit the Stop All Internet Activity Button and with in 10 min I had 500 hits at my Computer. For more info on Zone Alarm go to Windows Utilities
After I replaced the Power Supply I had to mess around to get it to Boot Up, one of the things I had to do was pull out the Ram and put them back in one at a time. When I booted it up with 32 megs of RAM, I was shocked at how slow Windows was, at 64 megs it was twice as fast openning apps, at 192 megs it was even faster not as much, but enough to notice. So if you are operating with 32 megs of RAM, upgrade it to at least 64 I would go 128, RAM is so cheap right now and for the performace boost it is well worth it. I got 128 megs of RAM for $30.00. 8 years ago I bought 2 megs and it cost me $120.00. Go to my Install Hardware page on how to install the ram, it is not difficult, just make sure you are grounded ( you don’t have any static electricity on you when you handle the chips or work inside the Computer Case ).
For the last week and a half my Computer has been freezing up on me, first for just a short time then progressively got worse. Tried reinstalling Video Drivers, DirectX—-, finally figured it out, it was the power supply. Replaced it and problem gone, so if your Computer is freezing up a lot have the Power Supply Tested, have a Tech do this, you can get hurt bad messing with the Power Supply, even when it is unpluged.
I uploaded a page with the subjects covered on each page in the Computer Help Section. The links to that page are on the Home Page. Link to Page
