It seems that Windows XP users in general are having the exact same issue. After discussing it with the telephone tech support for Poetry.com (they insist that it is your ISP) and checking multiple computers, connections, and operating systems it appears to have something to do with Win XP. I have tried IE 6 and Netscape 7 and had the same results. So this leads me to believe it has to do with a common program. If not Win XP then I can't say. I will be checking with Microsoft online support next week and will post my results here.

Hi, this is really a comment to a message back in 2001, but comments are turned off in your archive...

I am also running Greymatter :) but I am having problems if I try to control it from a PC with Zone Alarm Pro.

If you are still have that setup, could you try seeing what happens if you preview a post or a comment? I get duplicates! (Demonstration probably coming right up!)

I am also unable to close (ie hide from viewers) posts via the Edit menu - GM thinks it has been clicked twice and tells me the post is now reopened.

If I turn Zone Alarm Pro off, or use ordinary Zone Alarm, it all works...

Wierd.
