RegCleaner

Regcleaner is for removing Old Registry Entries and Programs. You can use this instead of editing the Registry directly, safer for people uncomfortable with being in the Windows Registry. This is a Free Utility by Jouni Vuorio.
This is the Software Tab, shows all the Registry Entries these are safe for you to Remove if needed. If you uninstall a Program, use the Add/Remove in the Control Panel of Windows, then open RegCleaner and Remove the Registry Entries for that software. Also if you right click on an Entry and click the Advanced Info button, it will give you the Key or Keys associated with the entry. I check this often to see if anything has been added to my Registry that I do not know about.
RegCleaner/Startup Tab

This Screen Shot shows the unchecked Startup Programs in msconfig. These are Programs that you have unchecked in msconfigs Startup Tab, if one of these programs, has been uninstalled, but are still listed in the Startup Window, you can Remove them with this, just check the one or ones you want to remove and click the Remove Selected button.
RegCleaner/Startup List

These are the Programs installed in your Registry, the Uninstall Keys.

There are many Tools, Tabs and Options in this Utility, I use the Top one only to quickly clean old Registry entries. This will not clean out all the entries, but will clean the ones you as a user should be concerned with, the other stuff is for Advanced Users, so be carefully. To Remove all entries for a Program or Driver in the Registry ( A Hack ) requires you to use Regedit, backing up the Registry and Advanced knowledge, the Software Tab ( Top Screen ) is a safe way for a new user to remove entries that may cause problems. One program I Removed from the Registry using regedit ( Hacked ) had 150 entries or Keys.
