My monitor (Dell) will not apply or reset the color settings. The monitor stays on 16 color and the lowest size setting and will not take any new settings. I have made the changes in the settings tab on the display properties, applied them and the system asks for restart even after I tell it to apply new color and sizing without restart. I restart and the settings do not apply. Is my monitor going out?

You may need to reinstall the drivers for your Graphics Card/Adapter, I would check the manufactures web site for an updated one.
