When I try to right click on Message Source in Outlook Express, it won't open anymore. Problem started when I upgraded to IE6.

Try going to Start-Accessories-System Tools-System Information-Tools-Internet Explorer Repaire Tool and repair IE, which should repair Outlook also. Also go to Windows Update and get all the Critical Patches.

Try going to Add/Remove in the Control Panel and Uninstall Outlook 6, then reinstall IE. You will lose mail, if you want to save those files, check out this site http://www.iopus.com/guides/oe-backup.htm

Thanks. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that but sounds like the only option left.

Mike, someone suggested just reinstalling without uninstalling might help, they said I wouldn't lose any of my settings or folders. What do you think? (by the way thanks for linking the site I work for I appreciate it)

I would try it, it may replace the corrupted or missing files.

One more email question. And I don't know if just reinstalling would help or not. Any idea why my email on Outlook Express 6 keeps making me repeatedly type in my username and password even though I have it set to save it? I called AT&T yesterday about this and they had me reset the passwords, they are working now because I can access the webmail, but every darn time I tried to retrieve my email through Outlook Express it asks again. It's only doing it on my AT&T email not my other ones. like my work email and my Hotmail that I have coming through OE. I've searched all over the web and the only answer I find won't work for me since I have no mail/fax icon in my control panel. It said to go to the registry and delete something then go to the control panel and click the mail/fax icon and do something else but I don't have that. Any ideas?

Try these:
In Accounts that Accts Properties, under the Server Tab, do you have Log on using secure password checked, Uncheck it.
My Server Reguires auth--- uncheck it.
If those do not work, I would Remove the Account and Set it back up again.
Are you on a Dailup or Broadband ?

I'm on Broadband. I can check my email on their webmail with no problem and sometimes Outlook Express will download it fine, the next time I have to re-enter my password. It's strange.

I'm on broadband also and when thier server goes down for maintence or whatever I have to put in the password, it may just be on thier end. When it happens again see if thier having difficulties with thier server, you are connecting, it is the srver that is asking Windows for the password.
