my brother had a lot of games on the computer then he decided to trade them in, but when he uninstalled them he did it wrong. Now we don't have the disks but the files are still on the computer, taking up space on the hardrive. Is there a way i can delete the files on my hardrive. i don't mind deleting the whole hardrive and starting again, because i have the startup disks for the computer.
please help me..................

Hi Mike
I'm not sure what you have as far as disks, if you have a restore disk just follow the directions that came with the disk. If you have a Windows Startup floppy and a Windows install disk you can reformat and reinstall, check out this page on my site http://mikescomputerinfo.com/reformat.htm

I would just like to completely erase the whole hard drive and reinstall a new one pretty much from scratch. I have the startup disks and I am just not sure on how to delete it completely.
thanks for the help.......
