Hi,

I've been trying to fix my computer with the tips on your web site, but there are a few things I can't find out how to fix. When I restart my computer the following message shows up "WARNING: Dell's Monitoring System has detected that drive O on the primary EIDE controller is operating outside of normal specifications. It is advisable to immediately back up your data and replace your hard drive." Then below that it tells me I must press F1 to continue setup. I don't know what this means, or what I should do. Also, when I do to connect to the internet, the "lamapp" quits responding and so does my internet explorer so I hit ctrl alt delete to end the task. Once I do that then my internet browser won't let me into my hotmail e-mail account or other web sites, I have to go through my tools, to mail and news and then read mail to sign in to my e-mail.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreiciated! Thanks

It sounds like your harddrive is failing, I would take it to a shop and have them check the drive and if possible copy all the stuff from that drive to a new drive before it crashes for good or you can do it with a new drive, they give you software and instructions on how do do it. I just had a 1 month old drive die on me last night and im doing it now lol
