I just put an old computer back together with another hard drive "Western digital 1.5 gig" I had to run a program called "Blast" to remove an NTFS partition so I could install Win98 SE. Everything was going great till it got to the part (Setup is preparing the Win 98 setup Wizard, which will guide you through the rest of the setup process. Please wait.) Well, I waited for a 1/2 hour, & it just hangs there? The progress bar went all the way to 100% Buit thats as far as I can get. I've tried 3 times to get it to complete with no luck. The computer is an old Packard Bell with a 166 cpu & 64 mb ram. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Try doing a custom install and just install Windows, drive maybe to small to install everything on the disk. Is the Bios showing it as a 1.5 or is it showing it as a 512 meg drive.

OK, I finally got it. It has been awhile since I used the Blast Program & I forgot the order in which I was supposed to fdisk/format?? Somehow or other, I just kept Blasting & fdisking & formatting till the machine finally resumed the setup process. Thanks for the input Mike..
