Mike, I keeping getting "IO device IRQ conflict" Press F1 to continue message" at startup. I checked everything in the device manager & there are no conflicts in there. Everything works but I have to hit the F1 key every time I start this thing. I tried loading the previous defaults, that doesn't work, so I tried the setup defaults, that doesn't work either. Any Ideas?

Try going to RUN-type-msconfig-go to the General Tab-click the Advanced Button- Uncheck-Enable Startup Menu. Also in the Device Manager, double click the Computer Icon at the very top and check the IRQs in there and see if the Graphics Card has it's own IRQ with PCI steering and the Network Card or Modem, also the Sound Card should have two IRQs. The main Window of the Device Manager will not show these settings in thier respective Properties.

Thanks Mike, I got it. Somehow I changed something in the startup menu. The mouse & modem were trying to use the same IRQ. I'm using an external modem & it's plugged into com.2. Apparently the setup defaults were changed.
