Very Annoyed
Posted on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 - 07:37 pm:

When I hit the / key in DOS, my computer
gives me an e with an accent on top. Windows is screwed and I must do the DOS, FDISK thing, etc... to reinstall windows. I need the %&*$
/ key to work.

How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Very Annoyed.

Actually you don't need the / to reformat. Check my page on Reformatting. The only things you have to type in at the ( A:\> ) prompt is, fdisk, format c: and setup or setup.exe
