when i start my computer, the monitor displays :
'' Pri Master HDD Error FX4824T ''
press F1 to resume
I pressed F1 to resume and it asked for a boot disk into drive A
I insert a boot disk, and get into drive A:
Thought of reformat the hard disk drive (fdisk and format), but it said that "format not supported on drive C"
Checked CMOS in setup, my hard disk drive is detected.
How do i solve the problem?

Hi Inge
Can't find anything about this error, try the following to see it helps:
Check the IDE cables connected to your Hard Drive and to the Motherboard, make sure they did not come lose.
Check in Fdisk to make sure the Hard Drive is the Active and Primary drive.
Check to make sure the Time is right in cmos or Bios.
Using your Startup Disk at the A: type scandisk C: there is a space after scandisk then type the c:
Try unpluging the power cable ( computer must be off ) wait a few minutes then plug it back in and then start it up.
