Mike, how can I extract a modem driver? I installed one of microsofts updates yesterday & when I rebooted, it said it had found an updated driver for my modem. I want to extract the driver to a 31/2 floppy for future use.

You can't, what you can do, is do a search on the Net for the Driver file then save the zip. Any updates from Windows Update is like that, If Windows Update shows an update I want to save, I go to update.com and see if that site has it first, so I can save the zip file.

OK, thats what I was wondering, I thought maybe I could go into the drivers file & find it there? But I didn't have any luck. Thanks
