When I go to the Add/Remove Programs control panel it list the prog's on my machine but also ones that have been deleted. If I choose to remove these prog's it says theres an error and it can't find them. So my question is how do I remove them from the list?

You would have to go into the Registry to Delete the Entries, but you can download Tweak UI from MS and remove them with that.
