Mike, I want to transfer some files from my secondary drive to my in-cd disk. Namely the installation files for the power point veiwer & adaware, but when I try to move them, I get a shortcut link on the cd drive. If I decide to format my hard drives I would like to have these applications on disk so I don't have to go back & download them from the web. I seem to remember doing this once before but I don't remember how.

Hi Gary
Try moving the .zip files of the programs, those are what I save. If you deleted them I would redownload them and save them to the other drive.
