This is an Email I recieved and if this is true, it is an outrage, Thanks to Rush for bringing this out in the open. Here is a link to the content of the Email Military Family, For the record, I do not like Rush Limbaugh, but, if this information is true, which from the comment posted by GI Jane it must be, I felt it should be posted.

As an Active Duty member of the US Army, I completely understand exactly what was said. Although I haven't been in the Army for 20 years, the short time I have been has given me a new outlook on not only the military but the government as a whole. I think that because we are SUPPOSED to be able to "move out" at any point and time and ready to go wherever whenever necessary, we are treated so poorly. I believe that I fall in the category of a "special soldier" because I am a single parent so alot more is required of me. True, no one twisted my arms to come into the Army. However, I wouldn't treat my dog the way I am being treated now. Food, shelter, clothing, money and **** I am even going to throw in transportation...that's the last thing any soldier in the United States Armed Forces should EVER have to worry about. If I can risk my life for everyone, I should be compensated accordingly. Especially if my life is taken away from me while protecting my country, my family should never EVER have to worry about anything. It shouldn't matter if they turn 18 because growing up is a part of life but my dying before my time during War is not. Why is it that I can go to an Childcare facility off post and get a better rate for services than on post. I thought the services offered by the military was placed there to help us out or make things better for us. It seems as if we are robbed by our own kind. I know that I won't be around to see it but I really wish that some of these Senators who determine our faith would come out and actually be required to serve some time with us. Could it be because their sons/daughters do not have to serve one day in the military EVER? Maybe, just maybe, we won't be living in barracks without any heat or air conditioning when the weather requires it. Maybe we won't be doing training exercises all day and all night for 28 straight days and risking soldiers lives because of fatigue. Maybe when we went to the Dining Facility to eat they would actually serve food that humans would eat instead of the scraps for the dogs. Oh, this doesn't include the times when we have "special people" visiting the Installation and an impression has to be made. Let it be known, I love the military and is thankful for all the opportunities I have been given but like all things...there's room for improvement. Sad to say I probably would never see it but I would go to my grave before I allow either one of my kids to join any Armed Forces!
