Well Heather still hasn't posted, she was busy traveling and now she is working 2 jobs and going back to school. She is a busy young lady and really doesn't have a lot of time for Dads foolishment. Updated her Home page, looks a little nicer, deleted some duplicate entries in her Guest Book. Will post some pics of her new dog Hiker, have to get them from my wifes computer. Well thats it from Dad, will post again with some updates.

Heather made an entry to her weblog, well actually a comment to one of my postings, still COOL !!! There is still hope that she may share her travels with the whole world, she is in Texas now and gets online at local libraries, that's cool that you can do that. I have her computer at home, has a Quantum Fireball harddrive, crashed and burned, I have one on mine, as a slave, I'm sure that it will crash soon too, not a real dependable harddrive. As soon as I can get a new harddrive and I get her Windows Disk, she'll have it back and online again. Well it was speacial to have her post a comment to her Blog, maybe she will have time to post a few more later.

There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which will require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the "drive-through mastectomy" where women are forced to go home hours after surgery against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and sometimes with drainage tubes still attached.

Lifetime Television has put this bill on their web page with a petition drive to show your support. Last year over half the House signed on.

PLEASE!!!! Sign the petition by clicking on the web site below and help women living with breast cancer get the care they need and deserve!! There is no cost or monetary pledge involved. You need not give more than your name and zip code number.

As you can see Heather never writes to this, Dad set this up, thinking she would like it, oh well, Dads don't always do the right things. Heather is traveling right now and doesn't have a Computer with her, I guess they are going to buy a Laptop, I know it is probably driving her nuts not being able to get on line. Well, now and again I'll add something to her Blog.
