First you need space on a server I use Hostarama, you can get about 50 megs for $5.oo a month. To run a Mesage Board Script like this, you would need a CGI-BIN or a Script that is remotely served. I use CuteFTP to upload my pages to the Server, this is probably the Norm. I use a wizywig Editor to make my pages, you need to know some HTML to fix what the wizywig messes up. I also use Scriptworx to edit Perl Scripts, Java Scripts and some of my HTML pages and it is Free. You could get a free site, but they limit what you can do, usually you use Templates that they furnish and you just fill them in. Then if you have your own Site, you would need to register a Domain Name, that is anywhere from 5 to 15.00 dollars a year. On the Free sites, like mine it would be their Domain Name /your page name. I've been thinking about putting in a Help Section for this, but have not had the time. Actually check with your Internet Provider, they usually give thier customers free space, usually 5 megs. Thats the basics, check the Weblinks Page to some links to more info, Lisa Explains HTML, is a beginners site for HTML.
