I print out many pages of genealogy on occation. At times it is 50 to 70 pages, which makes it very helpful if I can print on both sides. I have asked several office and computer supply company employees this question, none of which have been able to answer it with out starting with I think but won't promise. I have 1 computer and printer that if you go to print, and ask for book type printing it prints every other page, then tells you to take it out and reverse the paper, whereupon it prints the missing pages. My other computer and printer will not even give me the option to print as a book. My question is this, is it the computer OR the printer that controls whether you can print both sides in the manner I described? I have an inexpensive HP722C that does the job just fine. But am looking for another inexpensive printer at this time.
