Let Windows find the SIS Adapter, then go into the Device Manager-Double click it-on the first screen-uncheck Exists in all hardware and check the Disable this Device. To completetly remove it means Hacking the Registry, you could try Booting up into Safe Mode and if it is in your ADD/Remove uninstall it, also there maybe Jumpers on the Mother Board that Disables it. Put the PCI card in the PCI slot closest to the CPU, that one is reserved for them. The New one should over ride the onboard. Make sure in your Bios that you set it to Graphics Adapter= PCI, if your Bios has that option and usually it should have it's own IRQ, check your Mother Board Manual, usually, you want to make sure Pallet Snooping or Shadowing is OFF( check your New Adapters Manual for what Bios settings to set). Hope this Helps let me know how it goes
Mike
