I have an award bios mobo. with 6 slots for memory. I am running a 133cpu with 32mb ram. I tried to install another 16mb of ram & on the bootup it tells me "Memory test fail" "Invalid VxD Dynamic link call to Device #3 Service B. Windows config. is invalid.
I can remove one of my original ram chips, & Use the new one & it gives me 32mb again. But when I put the 3rd one back in, it does the same thing again. It just locks up & tells me to reboot. I then have to manually unplug the power to get the computer to shutdown. I have tried skipping one slot & it still does the same thing, however I did put it in the last slot & it has no effect, but it doesn't show up either.
